I am working on a project for HGTV and today we will be filming the counter top install and back splash being installed. When planning a kitchen there are so many details to take in to consideration.
Focusing on the marble materials, here are a few interesting details to incorporate into your space.
The marble sink is fabulous but adding grooves in the side of the sink is a great way to plan ahead
so you don't need a dish rack to hold dishes while drying. The water drains directly into the sink. Love
this idea as you don't have clutter on the counters! The extra added detail in the back splash is a nice addition as well.
I love this little end cap detailing. Although this kitchen shows a complete marble end panel this could
also be done more cost effectively by just adding the detail to the top of the counter. I may not be as
dramatic but would still be very pretty. My fabricator said the piece to make is about $200-.
Although this is not a counter top detail, I love the marble shelving over the sink.
It takes a dead space over the sink and creates a complete focal point. Executed all in marble
keeps the space feeling rich and luxurious.
